Installing IDS

• Tripwire

• Edit install.cfg

• ./install.sh

• Edit the Policy file.

• Make a backup of your database on a floppy.

• ./tripwire

• The Policy File

• Keep it clean and only check important files

• Always double check before restoring something to an original. You may have made the change.
